Byaling writes to Telangana CM over mysterious death of teenager

ITANAGAR, Oct 12: Home Minister Tanga Byaling has written letter to Chief Minister of Telangana, K. Chrandrasekhara Rao seeking his intervention for a proper investigation by the Telangana police into the mysterious death of teenager Raju Kino on September 25.
Raju was reportedly found hanging in the bathroom of ALR Complex North-
He was among the students who were supposed to take admission in Dr. YSR Education and Welfare Group Foundation Group of Institution, Chevalla Hyderabad.
The Home Minister had written the letter to Rao after aggrieved Balong Kino, father of the deceased sought his intervention for speedy investigation into the case and forensic report to unearth the cause of the unnatural death of his son.
Byaling requested the Telangana government to pass on necessary direction to its police department for carrying out a proper and speedy investigation. Byaling also sought a copy of the forensic report.
The aggrieved father expressed his resentment at agents who were coordinating with the institution for admission for lack of cooperation.
“Agents who were supposed to coordinate and keep updating about our wards were not cooperative,” alleged father of late Raju.
Meanwhile, when contacted, Investigating Officer of Chevalla Police Station Mohammad Khalid informed that the case is under investigation and post mortem and forensic reports are yet to come. He further disclosed that forensic reports would take 60 days come.

PASIGHAT, Oct 12: The Women Wing of Adi Bane Kebang, East Siang Unit seized around 50 cartoons of beers from various hotels and shops at Rottung, Kebang, Babuk and Yembung villages on October 10. The consignments were seized during the team’s tour to Babuk village under Pangn circle where the ABK (WW) organised an awareness programme against drug and substance abuse and alcoholism.

Governor calls on Centre for promotion of rich cultural heritage
Tap tourism potential of the state: BJP
ITANAGAR, Oct 12: Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Culture and Tourism, Shripad Yasso Naik called on Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, Lt. Gen (Retd) Nirbhay Sharma at Raj Bhawan here today and discussed on the promotion of rich cultural assets of indigenous people of the State and harnessing the tourism potential.
The Governor emphasized on the need for more focused and concerted effort in the promotion and preservation of the rich cultural heritage of the state. He said that Arunachal Pradesh is not only rich in biodiversity but also rich in ethnic and cultural diversity.
Each tribe has distinct cultural traditions and practices, the Governor said and stressed on setting up of a Regional Cultural Centre at Itanagar for which detailed project report has been submitted by the State Government.
The Governor further said that along with the cultural richness, the State is blessed
with huge tourism potential, including adventure sports, religious and cultural etc.

ITANAGAR, Oct 12: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki spent Sunday by meeting people of all walks. As the news of the “Public Darbar” went viral, thousands of visitors, including students and youth organizations, Panchayat leaders, patients and individuals queued in front of the Chief Ministers Bungalow, Niti Vihar within no time.
The much awaited ‘Darbar’ started at 10.30 am and lasted for six hours.
More than 1500 people, called on the CM with their grievances and problem. On the spot, decisions were taken for issues that needed urgent attention or were officially possible. Others were noted down by the CM with the assurance that these would be looked into and sorted out soon.

ITANAGAR, Oct 12: Taking part at a review meeting with officers of District Industries Centre (DIC) at the conference hall of Udyog Sadan here today, Parliamentary Secretary (Industry) Tatung Jamoh advocated for amendment in the PMEGP guidelines and framing state specific guidelines. ITANAGAR, Oct 12: Nyishi Elite Society (NES) has appealed all concerned including ministers and officers, not to contribute any donation, cash or kind, in the name of ANYA election or conference. It suggested that NES should be contacted if such situation arises.

ITANAGAR, Oct 12: Rakap and Industry Area Youth Association organized social service for the second time on Saturday to clean the area from NH52 A to Lower Rakap and Industrial Estate.
The volunteers filled the potholes, cleaned the choked drains to improve communication as part of Swach Bharat Abhiyan.
The association meanwhile urged the authority concerned to improve the road and drainage system and the street lights for the benefit of the traders, and residents, particularly students.

Cleanliness and Daporijo

Through your esteemed daily, I would like to write regarding Daporijo. In Daporijo many people have constructed their toilets and bathrooms near rivers, which goes directly to the river, which in turn makes the water dirty.
That apart, many citizens throw garbage, plastics, dead bodies of animals into the rivers which spoils the river. The smell that emanates from such waste products is harmful to children and adult alike.
At last, I would like to request all my brothers and sisters of Daporijo town to maintain the cleanliness of the town. I would also like to request the D.C of Upper Subansiri to look after the issue of cleanliness of the township.

Of late, it is understood through the column of your paper dated 27th August 2014, under the caption, “Education Department breaks it’s on Rule” that there are more than 140 BEOs in Arunachal Pradesh. But here I would like to know whether any one of these BEOs is meant for Wakka Educational Block? The BEO who has been posted at Wakka was withdrawn sometimes in the first part of 2014. Since then no reliever has been posted at Wakka. This is the reason that teachers do not stay in their posting place because there is no body to monitor and supervise the functioning of Schools in the area.

authorities that due to the lack of street light in Div-
Lack of street light and the bad condition of roads are the main problems for the general public. Many times, taking advantage of dark, the criminals have stolen valuables from people.
The main victims are the ladies who are unable to travel at night as they are harassed. Many cases have come to light where girls have been in trouble. The youths have given a written complain to the police for necessary action, hoping for positive response.

I am not sure in what words I should congratulate you both. Should I congratulate you for bringing laurel to your respective countries or should I sing praises for the commendable job you two have contributed to the cause of “Child Rights and education”.
To be honest I was disturbed, scared to be portrayed as a ‘Hypocrite’. After this
news, a feeling of uneasiness confined me when I was served a cup of tea by a girl,
probably of your age Malala or even lesser who I suppose have not visited her home
or even talked with her family for months or years. Living in a society where the
care taker of a kid is a kid has left me spellbound. The logic that a 8-

We never thought of education for them because we have not yet thought of their basic rights yet! I feel burdened to tell you that many of the people showering blessings and wishes to you two are those who do not support your cause or atleast indifferent about it and I couldn’t help but include myself in the list as I avail services from these kids wherever I go.
There are several reasons which people come up with, ‘Their parents themselves gave them to us.’ ‘They are living a far better life here with us than their own home’ ‘ it’s impossible to survive without a help in a city’. But are these reasons strong enough to take a bullet in our head and to give up a decent job and dedicate our whole life towards it? This thought has intrigued me now.
So, with a burden in my heart I extend my congratulations to you both.

Dear editor
Through your esteemed daily, I would like to ask the state government and concerned department regarding non release of salaries for employees working under centrally sponsored schemes such as Sarbha Shiksha Abhiyan(SSA) Agriculture Technology Management Agency(ATMA) and National Rural Health Mission(NRHM). The funds have already been released from the centre so why are the salaries not being released?
The fund is released from central only after the state government submit utilisation certificate and all required report including monitoring evaluation. We are doing our job sincerely. If you can delay our salaries, why don’t you delay the salary and expenses of those who are living insde AC rooms and driving around in the foreign made vehicle? Why is the pain being given to the field workers?
